VR Robotics Classes
VR Robotics 101 will teach students the fundamentals of Python, a widely used coding language in today’s world, and its applications to robotics. Students will learn about fundamental python concepts during the first couple sessions, and then transition to using skills learned to robotics. The core of a rover will be covered and a rover's “anatomy” such as a sensor, a magnet detector, and more. By the end of this course, students should be comfortable designing their own basic algorithm in python and be able to solve intermediate level problems on robotics.
VR Robotics 100
Students will be using a virtual reality simulator in order to test out their robots and code in Python. Introductory and Intermediate level robotics concepts will be taught, such as location, sensors and more and their applications to real world robotics. After this course, students will have a feel for what robotics is and can further pursue robotics through a robotics team such as those offered by the North Vancouver School District or West Vancouver School District.
